When was the last time you made a commitment to yourself and kept it? You said, “I will start tomorrow,” but that never happened. You said, “I will take time for myself”, but that rarely happens. You said, “I do this for me when…” and the when never happens. Why do we say these things, and they never happen? A lot of the time, we as women, our first priority is everyone else and everything else. We rarely or never make ourselves a priority. We have to realize that to be the best for THEM, we have to prioritize ME first before Them. You say, hey, well, sounds good, but it's been working for me so far. But has it? You have become anxious, you are so tired you can barely move, you have constant headaches, you are constantly sick, you forget to eat because you are too busy, you are overbooked with events and things to do, you don’t get enough sleep, your mind is constantly working with so many thoughts etc. Is that really working? No, it is not, although to you it may seem so. At some point, your body and mind will break down. This should not happen! Your body or mind or both should not have to break down to tell you to stop.
