​being independent that you become an island. That is a lonely place, which leads to self-doubt, a lack of confidence, and negative thoughts. Be confident in yourself, who you are and what you can and will accomplish. Independence means self-control, not being controlled by others. So be independent but allow others to love you, speak into you and enjoy the beautiful person you are. Love Yourself and Love Others!
