Dealing with Depression
I love what I do with my business and organization but I am also human. Sometimes walking thru life with others, I take on too much and/or I neglected my self care practices. The hashtag I use of #YouAreNotAlone means just that ... You Are NOT Alone! If I've not felt it, gone thru it or walked with another woman who has, I have someone on my team and in my life that has. My face of #depression isn't always sad because I am tired of crying. I am trying
to be normal in that moment when you talk to me because I don't want you to know what's wrong. Being in a depression slump for me probably cost me a client because I couldn't/wouldn't/can't tell them that I had a relapse.
I'm thankful that I'm doing better. I'm glad I'm on the mend. I'm glad I have a friend who checked. CHECK ON YOUR STRONG FRIENDS ... we are fighting to hold it together also.😘 When I say, #YouAreNotAlone, I MEAN IT! I go thru ALOT of the same trials and tribulations as others ... I KNOW it is because of A Motivating Love and the women we are serving. I know I have to experience their walk, if nothing than for just a moment, to better provide and understand their needs. The ladies I walk life with are all going thru something different. Some I've known for over 10 years, some for just a year but all deserve a chance and a listening ear.
I say all this to remind you to be kinder because you truly never know what someone is going thru or what they've just gotten out of. It only takes a smile or a quick hello.
