At A Motivating Love, we define love not only by words, but by action — especially when that action requires courage. This piece is a reflection on what it means to be committed to one another in the workplace: to speak up when others can’t, to protect those who are vulnerable, and to create an environment where emotional safety is as valued as physical safety.  An admin is the person or people to whom activities are involved in managing an organization. Our organization is fully operational by the love and support of our admins. They provide feedback, ideas and creativity that the next generation are feeling and going thru. Our admin team is amazing! Yes, we are very bias on this subject but we mean it. We appreciate the support, love, growth and admire them for the hard work that they contribute to the organization, events, and programs.
Allow us to introduce to you, AML Admins ... Never in a million years did I expect to be experiencing a Shelter at home lifestyle. In such a short period of time our lives as mothers and working women (and fathers and men) have changed significantly.
What we once knew as "normal" will never be the same again. The new "normal" is yet to come. With this being said, now is the time, we need to pull together to support each other more than ever. Even though we cannot gather together physically, we can all support each other in other ways. Take a few moments out of  To Drs. Paul Rubin and David Sentelle, its not just about the teeth. When you start a family, every parent wants their children to be the best they can possibly be in mind, body and spirit. Visiting a pediatric dentist for the first time can set the tone for how someone's relationship will go with dentists and doctors throughout their life. Even small things can feel traumatic to small children. The goal is to remove the feeling of impersonal mechanics and give the feeling of being helped as a person. Frisco Kid's Dentistry does this. We do this every day with every person who walks through our doors. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the most common, but potentially serious forms of Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB). People of all ages, shapes and sizes can suffer from OSA without ever knowing it. In fact, an estimated 90% of the people who have OSA have never been diagnosed.
The repeated awakenings associated with OSA make normal restorative sleep impossible. People with obstructive sleep apnea often experience severe daytime drowsiness, fatigue, depression or irritability. Wow … a new year for A Motivating Love began in July with a bang!
We have been busy meeting new sponsors, working with businesses on fundraiser nights and organizations that we will give back to over the next year. We met with Janet Bernstein, who is the founder of the Every Heart Project. What a phenomenal woman. Janet is our speaker for our Always Mothers Luncheon on May 2, 2020. I cannot wait for her presentation. Janet also shared her new book with us "The New Rules of the Sisterhood". I highly recommend it. It makes one stop, think about your own friends and the relationships you have with them. It is great. I finished mine in a week. We visited over the summer with Lance and Hannah with StreetSide Showers. What a caring group. |
