January arrives with a softness that asks me to slow down and look inward. The cold air has a way of clearing my mind and the quiet nights give me room to be honest with myself. In this space I find the kind of reflection that is not always easy but always needed. And this year I keep coming back to the lesson of loving myself fully and without apology. Someone once told me

And the Growth That Followed
Some moments stay with you long after they happen. Not because of the words alone, but because of the silence that followed. I was disrespected publicly. Welcome to Self-Improvement Month September isn’t just back-to-school season—it’s Self-Improvement Month, a time to pause, reflect, and renew. At A Motivating Love (AML), this month aligns beautifully with our 2025–2026 theme: Healing & Growth. We’re here to remind every woman that self-improvement doesn’t begin with changing who you are—it begins with embracing who you are becoming. "You may be rebuilding, but you are not broken." 🧱💜
In this heartfelt message, Taylor opens up about the quiet strength it takes to rebuild—when your world has shifted and you’re figuring it out, piece by piece. 💬 She reminds us: You don’t have to have it all together. The act of showing up as you are is powerful. #NotJust4TheBroken
Who Are You?
I’m not asking about the usual generic responses such as “I’m a Child of God or I’m a God-fearing woman or being a mom, wife, sister, bestie, mistress, employer, cousin, etc” Who Are You? I can be described in many ways by several and then the same people. I’m comical, straight forward, honest, generous, a HOT mess, blunt, scary, cool, amazing, childish, afraid, thoughtful, rude, mean. I’m lots more BUT at the end of the day I had an anxiety attack. I felt panicked.
I was unsure of whom to call. I didn't want to interrupt anyone's day. I didn't feel as though I was important enough. My anxiety attack started it all ... and I'm still amazed at it all and what's more to come.
