​I wrote a letter to her 
the girl I once was 
I told her everything I love about her 
and that it’s okay 
     it’s okay.

I told her about our garden
that the seeds she planted 
grew into the most beautiful flowers
nothing like she could imagine
    and that we let go 
We let go to make room for us 
and all the good things on the way
