As May arrives so does the new way of life. We are still sheltering at home for at least part of May and hopefully have learned something new about ourselves and families. For me, I have realized ... I am really an introvert, but that is not a bad thing. In order to be a happier person the first thing is you must love yourself and be happy with who you are before you can give to others. Well let me tell you, when it's time to give and be social again ... Look Out World! Until then I am continually reaching out to others giving virtual support. Watching the news over the last month was very disheartening. I heard on the radio that family violence has increased since this sheltering. This is a very sad thing, but this is where we as individuals need to reach out to our family and friends. We all know someone who is struggling with working from home and trying to juggle life. Call, text, or email that person. Your act of kindness could be what keeps your friend from going over the edge. Join us for our 4th annual event, Always Mothers Luncheon on Saturday, May 2nd at 1:00pm CST. We will stream LIVE on the Always Mothers Luncheon Facebook page and our Always Mothers Luncheon website. The event is free but registration has its perks at Bit.ly/AML2020Virtual Also, if you or someone you know needs assistance or to talk, please reach out to us by calling or texting to 972-AML-9856!
