Personally, I am counting my blessings, holding my family and friends closer and appreciating even more the simple things in life. Each of us has many things to be thankful for. I always chose ...  For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fairly uncomfortable in social situations. As an anxious overthinker, people pleasing has always been a priority. Women intimidate me and I tend to have more guy friends than girlfriends.
People came to ME for advice and loyalty. But internally, I’m a lone wolf. I joined A Motivating Love after a coworker, Lisa, introduced me to Daphne. I observed for a while, taking it all in and reading the room.  Although COVID-19 has brought a multitude of hardships into individual and collective experiences there has been an opportunity for growth. Many social justice movements have made their impact through social media information, protests, petitions, donations, and more. This time has given all of us the opportunity to grow as activists and allies.
Activism connects passionate people to impactful causes and movements in our local communities and around the world. The power behind activism is  As we navigate through life, fulfilling our purpose, inevitably we will experience some form of grief and loss. Here are a few ways we experience grief: the loss of a loved one, losing a close friend, terminated from a job, moving to another state, divorce, and so many other life impacting things may occur.
Grief can hit you so hard that it literally feels like your world has stopped and you have no reason to hope again. In most cases,  What do you tell a person, whose fiancé has been in a serious crash resulting in brain damage and they no longer remember the person they are set to marry? How do you help a 15 year old whose father has tragically died in a fire and they have shut down in despair? What resource is there for a family whose only daughter has overdosed and the friends riding in her car with her, discards her body in a trash can and continues to drive her car around? To say thank you for the support over the last year … or last four years doesn’t seem to be enough. Each year we have a new theme that we cultivate, embrace and add it into the next. We began with ensuring that we knew we were worth it and had self-confidence. That developed into our self-love and we began to heal from past hurts and situations. Last year we supported many as we are now embarking into a new era – GROWTH! Our new year of Growth represents ...  An admin is the person or people to whom activities are involved in managing an organization. Our organization is fully operational by the love and support of our admins. They provide feedback, ideas and creativity that the next generation are feeling and going thru. Our admin team is amazing! Yes, we are very bias on this subject but we mean it. We appreciate the support, love, growth and admire them for the hard work that they contribute to the organization, events, and programs.
